1650 metres
223 Km of Slopes / 96 Runs
56 Lifts / 2 snowParks

Located in the Isere area of France and sitting at an elevation of 1650m, Les Deux Alpes is a snow-sure resort and holds a very special place in our hearts. Home to the largest skiable glacier in Europe, a massive off-piste area and snowparks mid-way up the mountain, it’s perfect for groups of all abilities.
One of the most unique features about Les Deux Alpes is that the piste layout is the opposite to many other resorts so it’s sometimes known as being upside-down. This means the easiest slopes in the resort are high up where the glacier is very flat, giving beginners the rare chance to enjoy high-altitude skiing and spectacular views that they might miss out on in other resorts.
Run break down: 17 green / 45 blue / 22 red / 12 black
For intermediate skiers the mid-section of the mountain has the best terrain with some wicked blues and reds on the Pied Moutet side of town which is also known for getting the most sunshine.
If you’re an advanced skier, Les Deux Alpes really comes into its own. You’ll find as many challenging black runs as those sweet cruising reds, and as you come back towards the resorts base, there’s some stupidly steep and sometimes icy blacks to finish off. If you’re into more natural terrain we recommend trying out neighbouring La Grave which has a seriously unforgiving and raw glaciated area.
high altitude sking and
spectacular views
After exploring all of that, you’ll need a drink, or two. There’s an awesome selection of après bars and it’s not unheard of to be found in Bresilien at 2am, board boots still on and goggles MIA. Offering access direct from the resort to the largest skiable glacier in one lift, yes one, it’s definitely an easy one to explore. Even beginners can enjoy après unhindered as the Jandri gondola can take you down after too.
